Elegant pea-green? No, pink Depression-era glass canoe relish dish, about 24 cm long, in Art Deco style with silver overlay decoration, made in the USA around 1930, in used condition with probable small missing pieces.
Description from the seller
Elegant boat-shaped serving dish (traditionally called the 'Canoe Relish Dish') in transparent pink glass from the American Depression era (circa 1920/1930), 24 cm in length. The piece is finely decorated with a 'Silver Overlay' (silver appliqué) with a dense floral and geometric motif in full Art Deco style, embellishing its sides and the shaped wave-top edge. This type of object arose from the historic collaboration between the great American glassworks of the period (such as Fostoria, Cambridge, or Heisey) and renowned silversmiths (like the Rockwell Silver Company), specialized in electrogalvanic application of noble metal onto glass. The silver is intact and presents a beautiful natural patina. As highlighted in the macro photographic documentation, there is an antique chip on the edge of the glass at the metal profile—a classic timemark that certifies the piece’s authenticity and history without diminishing its splendid visual impact for collectors. The lot will be shipped insured; this shipment cannot be combined with other lots."} } }}}=json} Actually ensure only valid JSON with one object. The above has extra braces. Need fix.
