ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bri Debernardi is a contemporary French painter based in Provence, whose work is distinguished by a strong pictorial identity, remarkable mastery of color, and sophisticated handling of material and movement.
Shaped by a life between Europe, South America and Africa, her painting combines the intensity of South American colors with Mediterranean light. Superpositions, transparencies, scrapes and contrasts create works rich in depth, each detail unique and impossible to reproduce identically.
Her work subtly explores the boundary between balance and rupture, control and spontaneity, appearance and disappearance, allowing the viewer great freedom of interpretation.
Her works, notably her large formats with strong visual presence, are presented in exhibitions and art events in France and internationally, notably in Cannes, Rome, Milan, London, and have joined private collections in several countries.

PRESENTATION OF THE CANVAS

The work is painted beyond the final indicated format to allow mounting on a frame-less stretcher: once the canvas is stretched, the paint naturally continues onto the sides of the frame.

It can thus be presented as is or complemented by a frame according to your interior.

Important: the canvas is sold rolled, without stretcher or frame.
Photos showing the work stretched, framed or installed in an interior are used for display purposes only.

UNDERSTANDING THE DIMENSIONS

The dimensions of the shipped canvas are larger than the final format indicated to preserve the margin needed for mounting on a stretcher.
Usually plan for about 4 to 7.5 cm of margin on each side, depending on the work's format.
Example: a raw canvas of 145 cm × 145 cm is intended to be mounted on a frame of about 130 × 130 cm, leaving 7.5 cm on each side for proper tension.
