François-Charles Bazelaire (XX-XXI) - Joie de vivre IV

Beautiful work in a gracious format with vibrant colors.
A subtle detail is the glove depicted on the back of the artwork.

François-Charles Bazelaire was a Belgian painter best known for his abstract and expressive painting. He primarily worked with strong colors and bold brushstrokes, being less interested in accurately representing reality. His paintings often have a dynamic and spontaneous character.
Bazelaire was active in the Brussels art scene and developed further from the 2000s onward toward non-figurative painting. His works primarily express emotion, movement, and atmosphere. In that sense, his style aligns with the tradition of lyrical abstraction.
