Splendid antique pharmacy or precision balance scale, characterized by an elegant carved wooden base and a refined light marble upper top.
The item is in excellent aesthetic and conservation condition, free from structural damage and perfectly functioning in all its mechanical components, including the central level indicator visible from the front with a brass frame.
The two large upper pans are made of solid burnished brass, preserving a splendid original patina that testifies to its authenticity and historical charm.
The base integrates the complete front housing for its accessories, including almost all of the original brass weights with shaped slots; only the two smallest milligram weights are missing, a marginal detail that does not in any way affect the aesthetic and decorative impact of this extraordinary antique piece.
It is a piece of furniture of great class, perfect to embellish a professional studio, a pharmacy, a shop, or a home environment with vintage and refined taste.
