Prettau - Starcity (stripe H)

Note for potential art collectors: If you are considering collecting art from Prettaugallery, we recommend taking the following points into account: 1. Only the canvases are shipped; the frames are specially made from solid wood for studio use. Therefore, you will need to install the canvas on an appropriate frame yourself. 2. After stretching the canvas on the chassis, we recommend applying a layer of transparent varnish for acrylics and oil. This will protect the canvas and enhance the colors. 3. The lighting effects you may observe on phone or computer screens enhance the optical reflectivity properties. However, the canvas will display a less vibrant image compared to what a backlit screen can provide, resulting in a reduction of contrast and colour saturation. 4. The artworks offered in auction are originals, without exceptions, not reproductions or giclées; they are complex compositions of layers, shadows, transparencies and nuances of sfumato. Reproducing certain details in photography can sometimes be challenging. Feel free to contact the seller if you have specific questions about a piece. 5. Considering art valuation a complex process, encompassing an artist's significance, history, the quality and uniqueness of their work and their rate in the broader market, the median estimated value of Prettau's artworks has acquired an official recognition having a stable reference point generally range from roughly €3,000 to over €12,000+ for the auctioned size. For more insights into Prettau’s valuation you are encouraged to check I-CAC Prettau index of valuation. Taking these recommendations into account will help you fully appreciate the artworks you acquire and maintain their beauty over time. Enjoy collecting! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Prettau is an artist whose work is influenced by the traditional rules of descriptive geometry in architectural drawing (her formal profession), combined with an artistic interpretation of the urban environment capable of conveying a certain poetic essence. Through a unique technique, her pictorial style has transformed the use of traditional brushes by incorporating alternative tools commonly found in technical drawing, such as graduated rulers and geometric calculations of conical perspective. Starting decades ago with ephemeral solo exhibitions in alternative spaces in Florence or Brussels, and progressing to major art biennales and fairs in Montreux, Paris, Monaco, Rotterdam, Rome, New York and more, Prettau has gradually established herself in the world of contemporary art. Prettau's semi-abstract paintings have garnered increasing attention and appreciation, recognized for their distinct style and approach. The growing popularity and appeal of Prettau's paintings have transcended borders, drawing the interest of collectors worldwide. Their ability to capture the essence of prominent urban subjects with a semi-abstract approach has resonated with art enthusiasts, making her works sought-after and valued additions to private collections.
