Description:
The Work: A semi-abstract, magical and decidedly contemporary interpretation of the City of Light. Above a geometric and structured composition of Parisian roofs and façades, the iconic silhouette of the Eiffel Tower rises, draped in incandescent and solar yellow. The bold palette blends deep cobalt blues, violets, shades of orange and touches of bright pink, crowned by a fine rain of luminous sparks. A vibrant, poetic work full of urban energy.
Technique: Entirely executed in acrylic using a painter’s knife on canvas mounted on a wooden panel. The richness and generosity of the knife relief sculpt the material, offering a beautiful dynamism to the color fields and creating an engaging play of textures between figuration and abstraction.
The Artist: With more than 25 years of professional activity (established since 2001, first exhibition in 1992), NOLAC (born 1970) is an accomplished artist. Her knife work is her signature, blending the force of gesture with poetic finesse. She now embraces a freer and instinctive interpretation of landscapes, brushing with luminous and expressive abstraction.
Deliverables: Unique work, directly from her studio, signed, protected by varnish. Delivered with its Certificate of Authenticity.
