Chess set - the troops of Napoleon Bonaparte, France

Vintage Magnífico handmade chess set, complete with solid metal pieces (alloyed bronze) beautifully detailed. This chess set is manufactured by Italfama, 1976, designed • Historical theme: Realistic figures representing Napoleon, Josephine, and the French army bring a captivating narrative to its chessboard.

• Prime materials: Solid zinc cast pieces with brass and nickel plating for an eye-catching and durable finish.

• Generous size and weight: The king stands 3.25 inches (approx. 8.3 cm) tall with a base of 0.875 inches (approx. 2.2 cm), and the full set weighs about 6 pounds (approx. 2.7 kg), giving a sense of heft and presence.
