Description from the seller

1000 Faces #160
Acrylic on canvas · Original and unique work · 2026

In this piece I build a female portrait using color planes and defined black lines, following a neocubist language with a hard-edge aesthetic. Orange and blue dominate the composition, complemented by soft green, cream, yellow, and a deep red.

The face is split into two halves that maintain a balance between symmetry and contrast. One blue eye holds the gaze, while a black stripe runs across the other, bringing mystery to the expression. Red lips and earrings of different shapes introduce small accents within the geometric structure.

The elongated neck, bi-colored hair, and the shapes of the clothing extend the fragmentation play. With them I explore how the same identity can bring together different emotions and ways of presenting oneself.

Art series: The 1000 Faces

This painting is part of my project to create 1000 original numbered works. Each face is an independent exploration of human identity through color, geometry, and expression. The pieces share a visual language, but each has its own personality.

The work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube, without a frame or stretcher.
