Pair of Polychromed Resin Religious Statuettes – Sacred Heart of Jesus & Saint Thérèse of Lisieux – H. Malsiner Workshop (Val Gardena)

These high-quality pieces were made in the famous artisanal region of Val Gardena in Italy by the renowned sculptor H. Malsiner. Cast in a dense, solid resin, they perfectly imitate the finest details, gouge marks, and reliefs of an original wood sculpture. Each statuette benefits from a magnificent hand-painted polychrome finish, offering an antique patina with subtle nuances (antique/shabby effect).
• Sacred Heart of Jesus: Shown with a white tunic, red cloak, and a flaming heart crowned with thorns. Signed “Malsiner H.” on the base. Numbered “232” and marked “ITALY” under the base.
• Saint Thérèse of Lisieux: Depicted in her Carmelite habit, holding a crucifix and a bouquet of roses. Marked “ITALY 80” under the base.
