Description from the seller
You are viewing a beautiful 6-key wooden flute by Remy Genin from Paris. Made between 1860-1870, in cocobolo (cocuswood). The mechanism is German silver. The flute has been fully restored and brought back to playing condition. Several cracks and pads repaired. The end cap/cork stopper has been repaired with a piece of plastic, and is functional. The ring on the foot joint was missing and I replaced it with a horn ring. New tuning cork, the pads are neoprene. In fact, the flute is a 5-key with a trill key, very suitable for charanga. The A = 435 Hz. All in all a lot of work, so I would say: value this with a good offer. Regards, Kees Knegt
