AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Does anyone know how many singles the great Sir Paul McCartney released? Taken into account that, as of his solo career, he often put out four or more versions? A collector’s nightmare. But here is a relief: three single including two very hard-to-come-by copies plus one from John.

1. Press – Paul McCartney. I bet you never saw this one! Not a 7” nor 12”, but a 10 inch record. Packed in an elaborate foldin-foldout gimmic sleeve. According to Discogs there are four versions and 53 pressings of this song, but only 6000 were made of this version, mostly shipped for promotion only (although the record does not say that).
The single was taken from but released before the album Press to play. The video was remarkable, in its simplicity. It showed Paul (and Linda) in the underground, travelling from South Kensington to Piccadilly. He interacts with amazed passengers, signs stuff and gets a kiss.
The copy on offer here has the original version of the song, with ‘It’s not true’ as the B-side along with the video edit. The outer side of the sleeve depicts the various recording tracks and the left-right panning. Extremely rare!
Parlophone/MPL, 1 OR 6133, 1986, UK. Vinyl mint, sleeve mint

2. This one – Paul McCartney. Taken from the Flowers in the dirt-album. No real big hit, although critics called it ‘one of his best Silly Love Songs’. It came out in six versions (three 12”ers) but this one (ghehehe…) is the English very limited Edition postcard pack. It contains a previously unavailable version of 'The Long And Winding Road' as the b-side, plus 6 full color postcards. Comes in a white cardboard envelope sleeve with a barcode sticker on the back and a small photo sticker to seal the envelope. That is still in place (The pics you see are from the internet,, the postcards at the very end)
Parlophone/MPL, RX 6223, 1989, UK. Vinyl and sleeve mint, sealed with a sticker.

3. This one – The only European pressing of this single, The First Stone as its B-side. That is a McCartney-Hamish Stuart composition.
EMI/Elektrola, 006-20 3446, 1989, Europe (German pressed). Vinyl mint, sleeve mint.

4. Happy X-mas (War is over) – John and Yoko. Macca had his Wonderful Christmas time, but Johns carol is the ultimate Christmas song. This is the 1980 European re-issue. B-side Listen, the snow is falling.
Apple Records, 006-05183, 1980, Europe (German pressed). Vinyl mint, sleeve mint

Please check the pictures, all records and sleeves are absolutely mint. Lovingly kept, stored and protected. The will be preciously packed and swiftly send. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
