Schaatsen - 1950 - Decorative object

Classic Frisian wooden skates. About 70 years old.
Produced by the Batavus skate factory in Heerenveen

They consist of a wooden footbed and a metal blade.
The skates are bound under the wearer's own shoes with leather straps.
This model was very common in the Netherlands until about 1950.
The famous Elfstedentocht was skated on these skates.

Complete with the leather straps in good condition.
Very decorative set.
