Writing slope - Satinwood

Rosewood veneer writing box with brass inlay. The light wood interior features various compartments, a small drawer, and a writing area with blue velvet. Napoleon III period. Includes a key.

In good condition. Small blemishes and restorations overall. The fabric is of a later date and the lock is working. To close, first press the top firmly and then the small front flap with 'papeterie'. When opening it sticks a little. The key can be used to pull the flap open.
