AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Italian Bauhaus-style mobile piece – First half of the 20th century
A small cabinet with a decided character, where the warm tone of the wood meets the rigor of geometric forms. Of Italian origin and dating from the first half of the 20th century, it expresses a taste linking to the Bauhaus style, with essential lines, compact volumes, and a functional stance.
The structure stands out for its rounded corners and for the pleasant contrast between the honey-colored wooden body and the black plinth, which gives the composition a solid visual presence. The front features a framed door with a slim molding, a circular wooden knob, paired with a vertical open compartment.
This asymmetric arrangement enhances its design and provides a practical solution for organizing magazines, sheet music, or records of a size compatible with the internal measurements. The top surface is suitable for a small lamp or a decorative object.
The surfaces show patina, tonal variations, and visible signs of use, contributing to the lived-in charm of the piece. Please study the photographs closely to assess the details and condition.
