"Flight within the Night"
This work, made in acrylic on canvas, explores the intimate complicity between the nocturnal nature and the inner universe of felines through an aesthetic that dialogues with folk art and symbolism.
In the center of the composition is a feline, whose majestic silhouette acts as a threshold or a landscape in itself. Within its dark, protective shape unfolds an interior firmament where birds in full flight reside, blending the animal's anatomy with the free movement of air and the mystery of the night.
The use of diluted acrylic allows for transparencies and fluid textures that evoke the delicacy of watercolor and the depth of starry backgrounds. Framed by vegetal branches reminiscent of botanical prints and under the serene gaze of a crescent moon, the forms flow with defined outlines and a contrasted palette of blue-toned hues and warm flashes. This piece is a homage to contemplative quiet and to the secret worlds that coexist inside our feline companions.
