Unique piece 100% handmade. It is not a print.

"Floral Metamorphosis"

This acrylic-on-canvas work explores the formal and material limits of painting through the use of glazes and fluid washes that emulate the lightness and transparency of watercolor. The painted surface is articulated through a tactile and visual richness of textures: from dense lines executed with a rhythmic pulse to the softness of translucent layers, a constant dialogue is established between the gestural and the refined.

Dl (Note: corrected as a natural rendering): The use of diluted acrylic allows subtle superpositions and translucent layers that give the surface an internal luminous texture, moving away from the traditional opacity of the material.

The painting material is built through overlapping wefts and densities that add depth to the nocturnal backgrounds and vibrancy to the forms, creating a tactile contrast between the fluidity of the glazes and the firmness of the line.

Backgrounds of modern illustration and folk art are integrated, reinterpreting traditional iconography through a contemporary gaze that prioritizes graphic line and symbolism.

The piece constructs an hermetic and ritual universe where fauna and flora shed their realistic dimension to rise as guardians of a secret territory. At the center of this symbolic narrative, the feline’s tail extends and metamorphoses into the stem of an exuberant flower, a poetic gesture that fuses the animal with the plant cycle. This organic transition symbolizes the emanation of life, the continuity between creature and nature, and the fertility of an inner thought that blossoms from the body itself. The elements act in a space suspended between dream and wakefulness, where every decorative pattern and texture functions as the hieroglyph of an timeless and introspective time.
