"Blue Garden with Pink Cat"
This piece, created in acrylic on canvas, is an exploration of everyday magic and the inner universe of feline companionship, reinterpreted through a vibrant and dreamlike color palette. The protagonist, a cat with an intense saturated pink, with magenta stripes, dominates the composition with a serene and magnetic presence. Its stately, front-facing posture evokes a guardian or a domestic deity, while its long tail traces an enveloping curve that fuses its form with the surroundings. The use of diluted acrylic allows for transparency and flowing textures that give the fur a velvety, luminous look.
The background is a stylized, hypnotic garden of cobalt blue leaves and purple flowers, inspired by decorative aesthetics and folk art. This vegetal element not only frames the animal but also creates a dialogue between the subject and its habitat. The cat’s piercing gaze, in a deep green, anchors the piece, a point of connection that challenges the viewer to enter its dreamlike world of stillness. It is a celebration of color as a bearer of emotion and the ineffable beauty of beings that inhabit our homes.
