Longines quartz vintage wristwatch with a 33 mm stainless steel case, white dial with Roman numerals, and a two‑tone stainless steel and gold bracelet, reference 7431.156, for men, in good condition with signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Elegant vintage Longines quartz watch, characterized by a refined gold case, white dial with roman numerals, and a two-tone steel and gold-finish bracelet.
Longines, historic Swiss manufacturer founded in 1832 in Saint-Imier, represents one of the longest-standing names in international watchmaking. In the course of the twentieth century the maison complemented mechanical tradition with quartz watch production, developing elegant, precise collections suitable for everyday use.
This specimen, indicative of the 1980s–1990s, features a case with soft, slim lines, measuring 33 × 36 mm. The contoured lugs and the gold finish give the watch a classic and discreet aesthetic.
The white dial is enriched by black Roman numerals, essential minute markers, and three slender hands. The date display at 12 o'clock is an aesthetic peculiarity that distinguishes this piece from traditional calendars at 3 o'clock.
The Longines signature with the famous winged hourglass logo completes the dial composition.
The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement. The specific caliber could not be identified, as there are no photos of the movement available.
The two-tone bracelet features articulated steel links with a gold finish, and a decorated clasp.
The piece shows wear consistent with age and use: there are surface scratches, signs of wear on the case and bracelet, and some loss of the gold finish, particularly evident along the edges of the case. The dial remains overall legible, with slight signs of aging.
Documentation regarding recent servicing or maintenance is not available. Functioning and accuracy will need to be checked separately.
An interesting vintage Longines for collectors and enthusiasts of elegant Swiss watches, with particular emphasis on dials with Roman numerals and two-tone configurations.
