Hamilton Khaki Sub 660 Quartz stainless steel case 38 mm, black dial, leather strap, reference 9745B, quartz movement, men's watch in good condition with visible signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Hamilton Khaki Sub 660 Quartz vintage, an interesting Swiss sports watch with military aesthetics and features inspired by professional diving instruments.
The piece belongs to the Khaki family, one of Hamilton’s most representative collections, a brand historically linked to the production of military watches and precision instruments. The American origins of the maison and the subsequent evolution of Swiss production helped define the technical and stylistic identity of these timepieces.
The Khaki Sub 660 model stands out for the blend of military legibility and sporty construction, with a high-contrast black dial, graduated bezel, and an additional 13 to 24 hour indication.
The stainless steel case measures 38 × 45 mm and features pronounced lugs, predominantly satin finishes, and a unidirectional rotating bezel with minute graduations. The screwed caseback bears the code 9745B, the Hamilton logo, and the original WATERRESISTANT 20 ATM indication.
The black dial presents clear large Arabic numerals, peripheral minute markings, and an inner 24-hour scale. The luminous insert indices and hands are designed to enhance readability in low-light conditions. The date window is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The inscription Khaki Sub 660 recalls the model’s submarine-inspired setup. The number 660 is traditionally associated with depth expressed in feet, consistent with the nominal 20 atmospheres on the case back.
The movement is Swiss-made quartz, a choice appreciated for precision and practicality. The specific caliber has not been verified by opening the case.
Completing the watch is a black leather strap, 20 mm wide.
The piece presents vintage conditions with signs of use on the case and bezel. On the dial there are small spots, superficial alterations, and aging traces, particularly in the upper area. The photographs are an integral part of the description of the aesthetic conditions.
Documentation of recent service is not available. The movement and date function are not certified. The original 20 ATM water resistance is a historical indication and does not constitute a warranty of current sealing: contact with water is not recommended without prior technical verification.
A vintage Hamilton with a distinctive character, interesting for military watch enthusiasts, Khaki line collectors, and fans of Swiss divers from the Nineties.
