Sahib Tea - Etichetta pubblicitaria originale - 1930s

Rare and fascinating original vintage lithographic advertising label for the Sahib Tea brand, dating from the 1930s/40s. Originally intended for the large 1 kg loose tea packages, it features the extremely rare inscription "Packed for Italy", which attests to its production specifically for the Italian market of the colonial era.
The design features a splendid, vivid chromolithographic artwork depicting exotic scenes typical of the period, with a tiger in the foreground and ceremonial figures on a decorated Indian elephant. The frame is enriched with floral decorations and characters reminiscent of the Devanagari alphabet.
Dimensions: about 13.4 x 32 cm
Condition: Excellent (warehouse/printing backing never applied). The reverse side is clean, free of glue or restorations. Colors still vivid and paper perfectly preserved.
