Description from the seller

Decorative mid-20th-century still life, oil on canvas, hand-signed lower right.
The composition depicts a richly arranged still life with a bouquet of white chrysanthemums in a deep blue vase, accompanied by green and dark grapes, pears, apples and other fruit arranged across a light tablecloth.
The painting is executed with expressive, textured brushwork and a warm, balanced palette. The flowers are particularly strongly modelled with visible impasto, while the fruit and surrounding objects create a traditional European still-life composition.
The work is hand-signed in the lower right corner. The signature is visible in the detailed photographs but has not yet been conclusively identified, and the painting is therefore offered without a specific artist attribution.
The artwork is painted in oil on canvas and remains mounted on its original wooden stretcher. It is presented in an attractive decorative wooden frame with a gilt inner moulding.
The reverse of the canvas and stretcher construction are shown in the photographs. The painting and frame show normal age-related traces of use consistent with a vintage artwork. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description.
Technique: Oil on canvas
Period: Second half of the 20th century, probably circa 1960–1975
Subject: Floral and fruit still life
Signature: Hand-signed, lower right
Style: Classical still life with Post-Impressionist influences
Orientation: Landscape
Framed: Yes
