-17 cm!!!- Amazing XL Muonionalusta METEORITE Slice (Sweden, 1906) Widmanstätten Pattern. - 125.5 g

A million years ago, a large metallic-planetoid collided with the north of Scandinavia, in what is now Sweden. This meteorite is known by the name Muonionalusta, and today it is the oldest meteorite on Earth of which there is record. It was first discovered in 1906, and since then a few specimens have been recovered, usually small in size.

The specimen in this lot is a high-quality, large slice in excellent condition, in which spectacular Widmanstätten patterns can be observed, some of them distorted by the impact, something very rare to see and highly valued by collectors.

Quality and size for a great collection. Cut very thin to have a large surface area relative to its weight. A fantastic specimen. Don’t miss this opportunity!

All of our meteorites come with certificates from IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA, and The Meteoritical Society, organizations of which we are members, the most important worldwide, hence we guarantee the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Buy with confidence.

Best regards and our best wishes.
