Description
TYPE I is a personal art project by Teep Teepse, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of seven. The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm.

Central to it is the tension between control and temptation, two forces continually vying for precedence.

Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand-arranged into a pattern on a wooden substrate. The placing requires patience and precision; the ensuing repetition evokes the routines by which a life is structured, whether or not diabetes is involved.

A plexiglass cover seals the piece, keeping the temptation visible but just out of reach.

Shipping
The artwork is shipped in its original box. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
