dambr - Sunlight

Sunlight depicts a young man immersed in sleep, caught in a moment of absolute quiet and abandonment.
An intense beam of sunlight cuts across the scene and illuminates the face, creating a striking contrast with the cooler, more delicate tones of the sheets and the background.
The light thus becomes the true protagonist of the work, evoking a sense of warmth, intimacy, and serenity.
The loose, impasto brushwork reveals the painterly gesture, while the figure maintains a strong realistic and expressive presence
A contemporary figurative work that celebrates the simplicity of a moment of peace.
