Italian art glass flower sculpture dating to 1950–1960, made of glass, 20 cm high, 10 cm wide and 10 cm deep, in excellent condition with light signs of wear and age.
Description from the seller
This refined and elegant ornamental flower in artistic glass represents a splendid work of Italian decorative art. The sculpture stands out for a delicate and rich cup-shaped or open-lily corolla, whose petals, modeled with great sensitivity, gracefully fade into warm chromatic tones ranging from deep pink to orange, up to touches of golden and amber reflections, capable of magnificently enhancing the natural transparency of the glass under every angle of light. The flower rises naturally thanks to a sinuous and slender stem in transparent glass with delicate amber shading, embellished along the shaft by two graceful lateral leaves worked hot with textured veins, all firmly resting on a wide and scenographic circular base, internally enriched by a fascinating spiral or opalescent white motif. An important added value is given by the presence of the original label on the neck of the stem, attesting to its Venetian artistic provenance. The piece is preserved in overall excellent condition, free from breaks or restorations, and is an ideal addition both for collectors of signed and historic art glass, and for those who wish to insert an element of refined design and undeniable value into their environment. A precious and timeless creation, which encapsulates the essence of high Venetian craftsmanship.
