Interior 62 belongs to the renowned series of interiors by the Turin artist Salvatore Cocca. The piece centers on the iconic profile of a Chesterfield sofa set in an intimate and suspended space, where tones of octane and petrol blue interact with the warm and neutral variations of the rear wall. The oil on panel application yields a tactile, soft texture to the surfaces, capturing the subdued light on the floor and transforming the everyday scene into an evocative, melancholic, and introspective atmosphere.
