THE WORK
- OVIS (2026). Mixed media on panel. 100x100x4 cm.
- Ovis presents the figure of a sheep as a study on anatomy, movement and spatial construction. The body is defined by a combination of pictorial masses, gestural brushstrokes and lines that traverse and pass through the figure, leaving visible the process of building the image.
The sheep emerges over a dark and deep background, partially integrated into it, while different geometric traces and color marks introduce a structure reminiscent of an analysis and projection system. The anatomy remains recognizable, but is fragmented and reconstructed through the pictorial matter.
