Description from the seller
Very decorative vase, manufactured in the mid-20th century by VEB Kunst Glas Wasungen. High-quality hand-cut collectible piece without a manufacturer's mark.
Elegant octagonal shape with faceted edges. Layer in very dark red tones, surrounded by clear colorless glass. Beautiful color play and optical effects – especially under suitable lighting.
Dimensions (H x W x D): 19.5 x 5 x 5 cm, 343 g
Very well preserved condition. As with any older glass object that has been in use, there may be slight traces of age and wear. These include, in particular, moderate scuffs on the base area.
Please carefully view the photos in the large view before purchasing!
Note:
Due to internet color reproduction limitations and your monitor settings, the colors of the product photos may differ from the original you will receive.
Stands, lighting accessories, and measuring accessories pictured are not included in the offer!
Seller's Story
I have been a passionate collector of high-quality glass objects for several years.
The focus of my collection is on glass objects from Germany, Czechia (Bohemia), Italy (Murano), and Scandinavia, designed and produced in the 20th century. Another emphasis is on Scottish paperweights.
Since 2019, I have been offering my surplus objects on Catawiki. Maybe there's something interesting for you too!
Should an issue with your order occur as an exception, please let me know before leaving a negative review. Fair people always find a fair solution! Wishing you good luck with your bidding.
