Description from the seller
THE WORK
-CAULIFLOWER (2026). Mixed media on panel. 100x100x4 cm.
-Coliflor explores this vegetable as form, matter and structure. The representation starts from direct observation, but is transformed through layers of paint, drawing and geometric elements that decompose and reconstruct its presence.
The cauliflower occupies the center of the composition, surrounded by a framework of lines, circles and planes that introduces a second reading: that of the object as something that can be analyzed, measured and constructed. The dark background enhances the presence of matter and establishes a contrast between the organic and the geometric.
The work belongs to the Treatises language, where the representation of an everyday object becomes a pictorial investigation into its structure, perception and construction.
- Hand-signed by the artist on the back and on the painting.
- Unique edition.
- Work from a new collection.
- The work ships unmounted.
