Anonymous - Brain Box - 1960s

A poster of a historic pop concert in Maastricht. The legendary Dutch rock band Brainbox (featuring, among others, Jan Akkerman and Kaz Lux) regularly performed in the renowned Berchmans Society (also known as the Berchmans-Soos) on Bredestraat in Maastricht in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

The Berchmans Society was at that time a leading youth center where, among others, programmer Jan Smeets (the later founder of Pinkpop) booked major national and international bands.

The poster, measuring 66 x 30.5 cm, is in very good condition and dates from the late sixties to the early seventies (I could not determine the exact year, probably 1970).

The poster will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube.
