Antique silver brooch with a raw emerald as the centerpiece, hand-engraved floral and foliate motifs, about 5.6 × 4 cm and weighing 10.5 g, Dutch hallmarked silver, one main emerald of 3 ct, no laboratory report, unisex, in Art Nouveau/Victorian antique style.
Description from the seller
Antique silver brooch with rough emerald – hand-carved
A remarkable antique silver brooch with a beautiful organic design of several interlocking, open circular shapes. The silver is richly adorned with hand-engraved floral and foliate motifs, causing the brooch to reveal different details from every angle.
In the center sits a striking rough, uncut emerald. The natural texture and deep green color of the stone form a beautiful contrast with the antique silver. It is precisely the irregular shape of the emerald that gives this piece its very own character.
The brooch features a traditional long pin and the clasp bears a Dutch silver hallmark. A special piece for lovers of antique, handmade, and botanically inspired jewelry.
