About the artist:
Frédéric Truteau, self-taught painter born in Marseille in 1970, now lives near Aix-en-Provence.
His works, made in the street art style and inspired by emblematic figures like Blek le Rat and Banksy, are imbued with humor and mockery, precious artistic weapons in his eyes.
Truteau uses these devices to take the counterpoint of ideas and situations commonly accepted.
Dare, jostle, disturb, surprise, no matter.
For Frédéric Truteau, the essential is to provoke a reaction by sharing his own view of things.
