Box - Gilt brass, Mahogany - Napoleon III

Napoléon III period rectangular box in blackened wood with Boulle-style marquetry, a central brass floral medallion accented with nacre, four corner inlays, an interior with dark mahogany veneer and partially preserved compartments, dimensions 31 × 21 × 12 cm, from France, in used condition with some losses and wear, missing one foot (a bone foot has been added to compensate).
