Set of 5 Antique Silk and Linen Napkins with Red Embroidered R.F. Monogram

This beautiful set comprises 5 silk and linen napkins, originally part of a set of 12. Unfortunately, the remaining 7 napkins had to be discarded due to significant wear and tear, leaving these five well-preserved examples.

Each napkin features a finely woven design of quadrants filled with alternating squares and circles, creating a subtle geometric pattern. The entire surface is finished with a delicate field of tiny woven dots, adding depth, texture, and visual interest.

The silk and linen blend gives the fabric an exceptionally soft, supple feel with a luxurious drape. Each napkin is finished with a small red embroidered "R.F." monogram, understated yet elegant, standing out beautifully against the finely dotted background.
