This cross is a vintage hand-painted faience with cloisonné-like enameled relief. Characteristic technique of Emaux de Longwy.
Decoration consists of colorful arabesque motifs against a bright turquoise blue background with fine outlining.
On the back are the characteristic stamps.
It dates from the Art Deco period 1960-1970.
The designer is Rehausse AK (Albert Kitchtetter).

Dit kruis is een vintage handgeschilderde faience met cloisonne achtig geëtaleerd relief. Kenmerkende techniek  van Emaux de Longwy.
Decoratie bestaat uit kleurrijk arabeske motieven tegen een heldere turquoise blauwe achtergrond met fijne omlijning.
Op de achterzijde zijn de kenmerkende stempels aangebracht.
Het dateert uit de art deco periode 1960 - 1970.
De ontwerper is Rehausse AK ( Albert Kitchtetter )
