Description
TYPE I is a personal art project by Teep Teepse, who has lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of seven. The work translates a daily reality into a visual language of repetition and rhythm.
At the center is the tension between control and temptation, two forces continually vying for precedence.
Each work consists of a box filled with insulin syringes, hand arranged into a pattern on a wooden base. The act of placing requires patience and precision; the resulting repetition evokes the routines through which a life organizes itself, whether diabetes is involved or not.
A plexiglass cover closes the work, temptation remains visible, but just out of reach.
Shipping
The artwork is shipped in the original box. Shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
