AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

About the artist:

Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since early childhood. Fate put her on the path of her passion when she crossed the paths of major figures of her generation. First an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these renowned artists and contributed to the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe.

Gradually, encouraged by those she admired, she dares to take the plunge: to give birth to her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signs her first works in her own name, rich from all the experiences accumulated in the shadows.

Her art? A vibrant mix of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from 90s graffiti, the streets that tell stories, and the icons who marked visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations burst with color, textures, and emotions. She paints instinctively, almost viscerally, letting her characters emerge according to the thread of her daily inspiration.

About the work:

Each painting is made on a 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, oil crayon, spray paint—so many textures that bring raw emotion to life.

This work is inspired by: "Uncle Scrooge"
