Alex de Onversaagde, first edition hardcover from 1956, by Jacques Martin, published by De Lombard Uitgaven, in good condition.
Description from the seller
The very first edition of the very first adventure of Alex, by Jacques Martin (also the author of Lefranc).
First edition hardcover from 1959 from the Lombard Collection.
Despite being over 65 years old, the album is still in good condition.
Covers with light wear, the edges still retain most of their top layer, the outer corners show, as is often the case, more wear.
The spine is remarkably nice with very minimal wear at the ends. 100% complete and original.
On the first free endpaper there are two numbers (?) and some scribble. Other endpapers are very nice and spotless.
The paper block is otherwise very fresh, unwritten and undamaged.
The Tintin dot is missing, but back then you could also save up for more comics...
All in all a very collector-worthy album from the early period of the graphic story.
With acid-free protective sleeve.
