Characterful wooden mail slot – graceful contours and warm wood grain

Give your correspondence a place with character. This wooden mail slot combines a practical layout with decorative design: two compartments in sequence, rising panels and gracefully beveled top edges. The warm brown color and pronounced wood grain make it an attractive focal point on a desk or in the hall.

The rounded arches and stepped contours return in the front, the middle panel, and the tall back panel. A profiled baseboard provides a neat framing for the whole. At the top there is an opening for wall mounting.

Wooden mail racks with separate compartments and a formed back wall belong to a long tradition of desk accessories for organizing correspondence. Similar historical pieces were suitable for both a desk and wall hanging. The exact age of this mail slot has not been determined. (1stdibs.com)

Even today, it offers a charming spot for letters, cards, and small documents. A atmospheric decorative object for lovers of classic office accessories and worn, lived-in wood.

Shipping occurs only when Catawiki provides a regular Smart Shipping label for the buyer-specified delivery address within the normal EU shipping procedure.

If delivery requires additional customs formalities, an EORI registration, tax registration, or another additional seller registration for a delivery address and thus a regular EU Smart Shipping label cannot be created, the order cannot be processed outside Smart Shipping. In that case, the order must be reviewed and handled by Catawiki.

The item is packed carefully and shipped with tracking. The shipping costs also include packaging, packing materials, and handling of the shipment.
