Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979) Tide, an original 2025 abstract acrylic painting on cotton canvas in yellow, 40 cm high by 30 cm wide, hand signed, in excellent condition, produced in Greece and sold direct from the artist, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Description from the seller
- Technique details: Acrylic paint and oil pastel on cotton canvas
- Certificate of Authenticity provided
- Delivery in cardboard box, carefully packed
Tide is about a state between going under and coming back. The large blue field creates a feeling of water, space, and silence. A dark form seems to disappear and appear at the same time. It is caught by the movement around it, but does not fully dissolve. The bright edge creates a border between inside and outside. The work is about cycles, change, and moments when a person or image loses its clear shape.
Please note:
- Possible color deviations are due to light, monitor and camera.
- For buyers outside the EU, additional duties and fees may apply.
«Borderline States» imply movement from the center to the periphery and back, mastering the color space, comparing emotional background and color. I would like to achieve combinations and dynamics that directly and positively impact the articulation of emotional intelligence.
Bio.
Konstantin Danilov (b. 1979, Moscow) is a painter and muralist based in Athens, Greece. A pioneer of Russia’s 1990s graffiti scene, his practice evolved toward Color Field painting, blending bold spatial compositions with psychological and emotional depth.
He has exhibited at major institutions such as the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation, and Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). His works are part of notable collections, including the STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation, and Sofia Trotsenko Collection.
Danilov has held solo shows at Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery, and Reloft Art in Moscow, and has participated in international fairs such as Urban Art Fair (Paris) and Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). His street art projects span over 20 countries, from Hong Kong to Paris and New York.
His work explores themes of emotional perception, ecological fragility, and transformation of personality and the interaction between one’s inner world and the external environment, including in the context of emigration. Using techniques such as painting around the edges of the canvas to reflect the hidden emotional layers that frame our conscious experience.
