Antique rosewood picnic table with brass inlays from India (Goa), dating to the 1940s–1950s, measuring 76 × 39 × 56 cm and weighing 4.8 kg, in one piece with brown wood and brass details, in reasonably used condition.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Unusual picnic table/board made of rosewood with brass inlays. It is in reasonably good condition; I think it should be from the 1940s or 1950s of the last century, or possibly even older. This piece was brought from Goa by someone who did military service there.
The leg locking mechanism (when in the table function) is no longer original. The legs are retractable and for that reason when in the table function, although it is safe, it appears somewhat unstable. But fully functional. When in the board function the legs do not lock.
Please look closely at the photos and appreciate the beauty of this table which, however, due to the passage of time, shows some wear and small defects.
The table/board has a total length of 76 cm, its width is 39 cm and it is 56 cm high when in the table function and 9 cm when in the board function.
I only ship to European Union countries. Any customs duties will be fully borne by the buyer.
