"This drawing is directly inspired by the arts and culture of the Moghul Empire, which flourished in India from the 16th to the 19th century. The scarf motif features ornamental elements and scenes that evoke the splendor of the Moghul imperial court, combining elements of nature, animals and oriental influences, while capturing the exuberance and visual richness characteristic of Moghul art.
The scarf motif, which blends complex geometric shapes and highly stylized floral patterns, pays homage to the opulent aesthetics of the Moghul period. This design is also a testament to Hermès' ability to combine traditional art and the history of cultures with timeless luxury and creative innovation."
