On this square format, Medsan places Totoro on top of a hill, with his back to us, facing Mount Fuji. The big gray creature from My Neighbor Totoro is seated, motionless, with his two ears pricked and his black whiskers protruding from either side of his round silhouette. Against its flank, Mei, in a pink dress, brown hair tied in two pigtails, leans on him and looks in the same direction. A little to the right, the small white Totoro has sat in the same posture.
