Macallan 10 years old Sherry Wood - b. 1980s - 75cl

A wonderful old bottle of Macallan 10 Year Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled during the 1980s. These older Macallan 10 Year Olds were distilled during the early to early to mid-1970s.

Matured in sherry wood, this comes from a celebrated period in Macallan's history when richly sherried whisky was firmly at the heart of the distillery's house style. Bottlings such as this helped establish Macallan's reputation for full-bodied, characterful single malt and are increasingly sought after by drinkers and collectors of older-style Scotch.

A classic old-school Macallan, with the rich fruit, nuttiness and weight for which these 1980s bottlings have become renowned.

The minor damage to the label is visible in the photos.
