Available: a beautiful poster from the 16th Montreux Jazz Festival, designed by the internationally renowned Swiss artist Jean Tinguely (1925–1991).
This iconic festival poster was created for the edition held from 9 to 25 July 1982 in Montreux, Switzerland. The expressive design with colorful brushstrokes, playful shapes and handwritten typography is characteristic of Tinguely’s artistic style. The hand-drawn “Montreux Jazz” logo designed by him still forms the basis of the festival’s current branding.
