Elevate your space with this striking vintage exhibition poster featuring André Thomkins (1930–1985), produced for the Kestner-Gesellschaft Hannover in 1974.
André Thomkins was a Swiss artist known for his inventive and often playful approach to drawing, painting, language, and experimental graphic forms. His work occupies a fascinating position within post-war European art, combining conceptual ideas with humour, visual wit, and meticulous craftsmanship.
This vintage exhibition poster was produced for the Kestner-Gesellschaft, Hannover, in 1974, representing an excellent example of 1970s German exhibition design and Thomkins’ enduring artistic legacy.
Good vintage condition, with minor creases and slight wrinkling along the edges. These imperfections should be largely concealed when the poster is professionally framed. Please see the photos carefully for the exact condition and details.
The poster will be securely packaged and shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube. The print is sold unframed. Any frame shown in the photo is for display purposes only and is not included.
