Armand Heins - De monumentale stad Gent - 1900s

Original reclame-affiche (steendruk) from 1906 with a remarkable (aerial) view of the city center of Ghent, where all the historic and monumental buildings can be seen. This poster was produced by the art printing house Nicolas & Armand Heins from Ghent on behalf of the Ghent company S. Van Gheluwe, operator of one of the first department stores in our country, namely 'Les Grands Magasins du Beffroi' specialized in, among other things, linen, underwear and clothing for women, men and children. The poster was offered in 1906 as a gift to the loyal customers of Huis Van Gheluwe.
