C. del Barrio - Por la mañana

Original acrylic painting on canvas · 70 × 90 cm · 2026

A everyday scene transformed into a composition full of color, character and personality.
A woman enjoys her coffee in the intimacy of a bright morning. Behind her, a small black bird watches from the windowsill, while the architecture and elements of the scene fragment into geometric planes and unexpected perspectives, creating a universe of its own between the ordinary and the imaginary.
The work combines the language of contemporary cubism with expressive and informal figuration. The contrasts between reds, pinks, yellows and blues, along with the black lines and angular shapes, bring dynamism to the composition without losing its visual balance.
Beyond representing a daily moment, Por la mañana invites us to pause and enjoy the small pleasures of life. The protagonist’s gaze, the presence of the bird and the cup of coffee build a scene with its own personality, leaving room for the viewer’s imagination.
An original piece full of vitality, ideal for adding color and character to contemporary interiors.
