Banksy, Forgive Us Our Trespassing, a rare 2010 limited edition double‑sided promotional lithograph published by Don’t Panic, printed on paper with the front image Forgive Us Our Trespassing and the back featuring the film’s promotional poster, in English, with 2 pages, in as‑new condition and with the original Don’t Panic packaging.
Description from the seller
Original rare promotional Banksy print, published and freely distributed by Don’t Panic in 2010 as part of the promotion for the film Exit Through the Gift Shop. The promotional distribution, together with the presence of the original packaging and the paper material kept with the specimen, makes it an interesting collectible object tied to Banksy’s artistic and cinematic production.
The front features the image Forgive Us Our Trespassing, portraying a kneeling child in prayer under a yellow halo characterized by the dripping effect. On the back is reproduced the film’s promotional poster by Banksy, creating a front-and-back document that combines the artist’s image with the era’s cinematic communication.
The print is in near mint condition and has never been exhibited. The visible creases are consistent with the original distribution method, in which the poster was provided folded inside the envelope.
The specimen is complete with the original Don’t Panic envelope, as well as additional paper material and some leaflets. The joint preservation of the print, the packaging and promotional materials helps document its distribution context and increases its appeal to collectors of Banksy, contemporary graphic design and film memorabilia.
