Longwy - Rehausse - Cup and saucer - Earthenware - Longwy Enamels

This very beautifully finished wall plaque is hand-painted faience with cloisonné-like enameled relief. Characteristic technique of Emaux de Longwy.
The decoration is a colorful polychrome floral motif against a bright turquoise blue background, with a fine outline and with a decoration of kingfishers.
On the underside are the characteristic stamps.
It dates from the Art Deco period, 1930–1940.
